ABOUT THE CRESTONE FOOD BANK
With a commitment to making fresh and healthy food options available to all residents of Crestone and Saguache County, we've existed in different capacities since 2015. Our volunteer army led by Karol Penner are the driving force behind making this happen. Stop by on Thursdays from 3pm to 5:30pm to experience it for yourself.
FOOD OPTIONS
Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
Your first stop shopping in the Crestone Food Bank will be at the fresh station with choices that change weekly. We're proud to offer locally grown and/or organic options when they are available.
The Pantry
Next, you'll be able to free shop in our two pantry rooms with canned, boxed and other shelf stable options that are all marked with a point value like a normal grocery store. You will know how many points you have for the pantry each week when you check in.
The 'Frig and The Freezer
Your last stop is in our refrigerator and freezer section before you check out. Here you can find great choices like breads, eggs, milk, cheese, pastries and meat. Sometimes we have more options and sometimes we have less. Stop by every Thursday to see for yourself!

Where is Crestone Food Bank located?
We are located at 66611 County Road T, next to the Public Library. We are between Casita Park and the Golf Course. Crestone Food Bank is open every Thursday from 3pm-5:30pm. No reservations or anything like that required.

Do you offer vegetarian and vegan options?
Absolutely! We believe in catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. Our options can change from week to week but we try to always have options for people with food preferences like vegetarian and vegan.
Do you accept food donations?
Yes, we accept donations on Thursdays from 1pm-2pm ideally. We probably won't say no if you bring it later. The food bank is usually only staffed on Thursdays so please do not bring donations other days. Donations should be sealed and not expired. Garden donations are also welcome.
